The lens is an extension of my heart: my most important asset I bring into each experience. Anyone who knows my work is aware of my West Cost love affair for bright colors, bold energy and dramatic edge to photography. Having lived and studied in San Diego, California for five years, the playful approach I take into the wedding day is what creates those animated images I have been recognized for. I was floored in 2007 when Minnesota Bride and readers selected our team as a top three candidate for their Photographer of the Year Award. Today I am proud to partner with the most incredible artists I have met to push each other in redefining wedding art in the Midwest.

With a flare for the unique in life, I have always wanted to be a part of something a little different and a lot of fun. So as all my friends decided to be doctors and lawyers, it was only natural that I decided to dive into the world of art. I grew up in a family of photographers and artists and was encouraged my whole life to see the world in a different light. I earned my degree in graphic design while also studying photography and fine art on the side. After graduating college I met Andrew and joined the Vick Photography Team. You'll more than likely talk with me on the phone if you call the studio and I'll be the one retouching and enhancing your images as well as joining Andrew as a second photographer.

I grew up loving the arts and found a passion for photography that has not only increased my time behind the lens, but also motivated me to join the Vick Photography team. Although now immersed in the creative world, much of my career has been spent in the corporate world, working in the field of Human Resources, which is also the area in which I hold my Bachelors degree.
