With much anticipation, the new "MN Bride Best Of 2008" comes out this week and guess who's in it? We were pleasantly  surprised to learn that one of our favorite destination weddings of the year can be found on page 161. Besides that, many of our friends have chosen to feature some of our work from the new season in their ads. Check out Ambiente's hot new look! (Best wedding coordinator of 2008) After being a finalist for "MN Bride Best Of" last year, it was fun to see that the momentum carried into this season and the industry really embracing our work. For this year, our good friend Noah Wolf was up for the nomination, go Noah! However our new friends, the talented Studio 306 came away with the award.

Calhoun Beach Club was a buzz over the weekend with some of the top professionals in the wedding industry. In the nicest way possible, this swanky MN Bride event can remind one of a class reunion with an funky edge every year.  As many of us stay incredibly busy serving clients and working on our art, we barely get to see each other but once a year. New web sties were exchanged, new inspirations for what is influencing our art were shared and we got acquainted with some new faces. We enjoyed grazing our way through a fantastic spread by D'amico that perfectly complemented the new look of Calhoun. Wow! Merina and I dragged our significant others along and to their surprise they enjoyed the event as much as we did. As you can see from these Traveling Photo Booth images, yeah, there was definitely something in the air!
