When Bryan called me to tell me he is marrying a woman more amazing than he had ever imagined, my heart leaped!  See, Bryan is from an incredible family I have known for years working at a family camp in Wisconsin.  Normally a pretty calm cool and collected guy, I could just hear the excitement ooze from his voice.  The only thing he knew was that they were getting married in Vermont at her father's church that he leads, and that I was going to be his photographer.  Period.  I was honored, and we started scheming dates that would fit into my summer calendar.  

 

Vermont is a gem.  The rolling Appalachian Mountains were the perfect backdrop to this love story.  The church is perhaps the oldest church I have photographed to memory, being built in the 1850s.  Brian, having a keen eye for photography himself, pointed out the rustic bell tower and up we went.  Between old brick walls, covered New England bridges, and rolling green hills, I was in photographer heaven!  Thank you for dreaming big but being so intimately intentional in your lives.  I love you both and have your back in this new venture ahead!
