Wedding Date: June 6th 2015

When Chad called to tell me they were engaged and wanted to plan their wedding around my availability, I was humbled and touched.  Their love of emotion-filled photos and their fiercely loyal hearts made coming alongside this relational journey one of the many highlights of my career.  This weekend in Des Moines, Iowa started with a friendly golf outing followed by a back-yard tented BBQ complete with a wild fireworks show, setting the stage for the wedding and after-party to come.  Chad gave his bride one of the best gifts a groom can give: being fully present.  Tears would come and go on the wedding day as the couple honored their families and friends while officially becoming one beautiful family of three.  Their daughter Sonya played a special role in their ceremony and not a dry eye could be seen in the guests gathered at the Embassy Club West.  It all felt like the room gave a collective sigh, a mark of approval as it just all felt so right.
