Emilie & Giovanni

Wedding Date: July 18th 2015

This was a day we all have been long anticipating.  Emilie is a very dear friend who many years ago offered to help get my photography business running smoothly and ultimately came on as the first every member of the Vick Photography family.  Since then, we joked and dreamed about crazy ideas she has been storing for her wedding.  When the charming Italian Geo came along, we all gave our enthusiastic approval and my wife Janelle and Emilie got to planning this epic day amongst the Sponsel’s apple trees at the Minnesota Harvest Apple Orchard.

This orchard has been particularly special to me for over thirty years, even getting to photograph one of my best friends get down on one knee.  Needless to say, love has been in the air for years here and now it has even more meaning.  Our church communities of Upper Room and CPC poured out to show their support and excitement for Emilie and Geo, two people who deeply deserve the very best.  Emilie arrived by horse-drawn carriage and left by buggy as well to enjoy a private toast.  You couldn’t wipe the ear to ear grins that these two had!  The party went late but we did steal away down the gravel road to an overlook of the valley to watch the sunset.  The day was pure perfection.
