Abby & Kevin Engagement

Abby and Kevin were planning a wedding at the beautiful Red Wing Golf Club when their awesome coordinator, Brittany, played matchmaker and suggested we meet. We hit it off right away and before I knew it I was on a mini adventure to Lake of the Isles for a fun Local Adventure Engagement Session. I suggested they bring something that was meaningful to their relationship and was surprised and a bit puzzled when they pulled out the card game, Skipbo. So there we were, sat at the end of a dock playing cards and watching the sun set. It was romantic, beautiful, and to my continued surprise, it became a game that didn’t seem to have an end! If I would have let them, I honestly think they would have stayed there all night trying to beat one another's record to take the win. This is a perfect example of why I love having an engagement session before the wedding, so I can not only see your favorite images, but also see your preferred pace. I learned they liked a laid back approach so I was able to mirror their energy on their wedding day. Take a look to see how their wedding turned out!
