Alexis & Mike I Do Day

I Do Day: August 22nd 2020

Weddings at this time in the world have taken on a unique look, but nothing quite as unique as Alexis and Mike. When they they were planning their “I do day” they knew the perfect spot, their happy place, the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest in Wisconsin. As a child, Alexis cherished family trips there and remembered visiting an island that was a sort of a coming of age initiation. So there was no place more fitting to visit on their wedding day than that very island with her dad stepped in as boat captain once again. We chased the rain away and buzzed all around the lake, finishing with a moonlit jet ski farewell to this day of perfection. The only thing to out-duel the views might have been Mike's cooking and Lexi's wine pairing as we all left with huge smiles on our faces.  Thank you friends, for the best weekend adventure of summer!
