Wedding Date: May 29th 2022

This wedding was a long awaited celebration of love and family. I met Amy and Michael a few years back when they were planning their wedding at the Bell Museum in St. Paul. When the world changed and they had to postpone their plans, they decided that just because their wedding was put on hold didn’t mean their lives had to wait as well. They bought a house and began their little family by adding their sweet son to the mix while they patiently waited for the right time to throw a party. Their time finally came when the Bell Museum opened its doors again and the pieces all started falling into place.

When I joined them on this beautiful spring day, they were overjoyed to finally celebrate with their loved ones. Their son was the center of their day and brought plenty of laughter and cute moments. After a beautiful first look in the museum, he ran up to them so he could be part of their first look too. It was an honor to get to see the wedding day through his eyes. He watched his parents intently as they beamed with both love and pride right back at him.

Their eclectic group of friends and family came from all corners of the globe to toast to these two. Filled with incredible food, intentional wine pairings, and lots (and LOTS) of astrology puns, this made for a memorable party. But the party was just getting started… Once the dance floor opened, that's when I really saw everyone come alive. Amy even did a quick change into a stunning getaway dress that was much more suited for dancing. After checking in with them one last time in the evening, I walked the quiet museum halls listening to the noise of the party fading in the distance knowing that they were all having the time of their lives.
