Ashlyn and David
Wedding Date: June 8th 2024
When two incredibly sweet and kindhearted people find each other, your heart grows a few sizes larger. Ashlyn and David's wedding was a testament to love, joy, and the beauty of close-knit relationships. Their day began with Ashlyn being showered in rose petals and love by her bridesmaids. The bridal suite was filled with laughter and the vibrant colors of their fun floral robes. The smiles were contagious, setting a wonderful tone for the day ahead.
When it was time for their first look, David stood just outside the bridal suite window, excitement written all over his face as Ashlyn approached from behind. Inside, the bridesmaids and mothers watched eagerly, sharing in the anticipation. When David finally turned around, the smiles that lit up their faces were pure magic. They waved at their admirers through the window and then departed for a walk with me to enjoy the beautiful weather and stealing a few moments alone before the party began.
St. Andrew Lutheran Church was a special place for them and their families. I was really taken by how light and airy the space felt and so welcoming and loving at the same time. When Ashlyn's father walked her down the aisle, David’s face lit up with excitement as he saw her approaching. The entire ceremony was filled with that same genuine emotion and love. When they were pronounced husband and wife, the entire crowd erupted in cheers and as they exited the church, rose petals rained down in the sunshine as they danced through a crowd of their loved ones.
The celebration continued at Hazeltine Golf Club, where Ashlyn and David made a grand entrance to the cheers of their guests. The toasts were touching and reflected the love and support from their family and friends. The night culminated in a huge dance party, where everyone let loose. But the night wasn’t finished yet! I stole the pair away from the party to step outside and catch the last bit of light from the sunset. We made our way to Hazeltine’s signature hole and stone bridge, borrowing a golf cart for a quick, fun ride through the course. Ashlyn's parents came along to help hold the lights, adding a special touch to these final moments. The day ended with a perfect sunset in front of the clubhouse, a beautiful conclusion to a day filled with love.
