Audrey and Justin Engagement

Many couples ask when they should schedule their engagement photos. My advice is to schedule your session early enough to be able to use your photos for save the date cards and your wedding website. If you want to go above and beyond, you could even schedule your session for a season that’s opposite of your wedding date to add some variety. Audrey and Justin definitely get bonus points! They had their engagement session in the spring and are planning an autumn wedding. Knowing this, I was excited to capture all the best that spring has to offer for these two outdoor nature lovers. They wanted to take me to one of their favorite spots for a little time in the forest. We started out on the trails which led to some remarkable views overlooking the river. The leaves had recently come out so everything was a beautiful bright green and the river was flowing fast and teaming with life. We hiked up to one more viewpoint before taking a break at a firepit and pulling out the s’mores. They cheerfully roasted marshmallows and toasted to their upcoming wedding with camping cups and a perfect manicure. I can’t wait for their next adventure… the wedding day!
