Bonnie and Brett
Wedding Date: April 25th 2025
Bonnie and Brett’s wedding was one of those days that makes you smile. The kind of day where the air feels calm, the joy is effortless, and everyone leans in a little closer just to soak it in. Erin, one of our incredible team photographers, had the honor of photographing their wedding, and enjoyed every minute.
Bonnie spent the afternoon getting ready with her daughter and bridesmaid. It was one of her favorite parts of the day. A quiet cabin, warm light, matching robes, and that unmistakable feeling of “this is really happening.” Erin moved through the space with care, capturing little glances between mom and daughter, a toast with friends, the zip of the dress, the smile that hit just a little different once it was on.
Meanwhile, Brett was getting ready across the property. Final touches, a few deep breaths. When Erin met him for his first look with Bonnie, he didn’t hold anything back. The second he saw her he cried tears. The good kind. The kind that makes everyone watching get a little misty too. Bonnie smiled wide, hugged him tight, and just like that, they were ready for the rest of the day.
The ceremony was timed perfectly with the setting sun, and the light couldn’t have been better. Erin said everyone was smiling from the front row to the back and Brett teared up again as Bonnie walked toward him. It was beautiful. Simple. Exactly what they wanted.
After they said “I do,” they walked back down the aisle hand-in-hand as husband and wife, both beaming. One of the things Bonnie hoped for was a photo with every guest—and Erin made sure that happened. One big group, everyone together. A reminder that weddings are about more than just two people. They’re about community, shared history, and the people who carry you forward.
Then came the party. Bonnie and Brett made their entrance to a round of applause and a few happy tears. The welcome toast was short and sweet, followed by rounds of laughter-inducing speeches that had the whole room smiling. Dinner was casual and delicious that kept the energy up and the plates full. The cake cutting was quick and lighthearted, and then the real fun began.
They danced for the first time as husband and wife, surrounded by friends and family. Then came the parent dances, Bonnie with her dad, and a special moment with her daughter. After that, the dance floor opened, and it didn’t take long for everyone to jump in. It was loud, joyful, full of movement and one of those dance floors that just pulls you in.
From start to finish, this day was about love that runs deep, family, and celebration. Huge thank you to Erin and Bonnie and Brett. You gave us a day filled with real moments, big feelings, and the kind of joy we love to photograph. We’re so happy for you both.
