I Do Day: July 11th, 2020

We started this adventure in our studio with Ellen and her mom over some lemonade and laughter. I could see that sparkle in her eye for her mystery man, Taylor, so I decided I just HAD to meet him. They loved the idea of taking me to Chicago for their Fly-to-Me engagement session and we hit all the highlights of their dating life. Needless to say, it was a blast and we felt like we had already known each other for a long time, setting the table for a day I had been counting down to, their wedding.

In the state of the world today, they decided to have a part one secret garden wedding in her parent's backyard with the fabulous Julia LaCroix Styled Events pulling out all the stops along with Martha's Gardens. Following the intimate ceremony at Assumption in St. Paul, we made our way to their home and were welcomed with a Prosecco bar and lobster roll bites. The food was amazing! Some toasts gave way to tears and before the rain blessed this union on our tent roof, we snuck in a family dance party under the stars. It felt like it was always meant to be this way and my heart was happy.
