We are in a time when all stories matter. A lot. Gatherings are taking on a whole new look and people have been having fun with an intimate approach to weddings. Even "family" is being redefined as more consider the "family you choose" as couples are finding special ways to be more intimate and intentional in their celebrations. In some ways, this is a step back in time towards our roots of history where it started as an exchange meant for families, and the town would celebrate in the days or months to follow. Destination weddings are known for this special invite list as well, with a reception to follow and look forward to. Many cultures still follow that historical path. Having photographed marriage stories all over the world, I believe some of these special and intentional ways are here to stay in Minnesota...finally! Be curious and see just how special this can be.

Aria at the Jeune Lune is a front-runner in creative vision and an integral part of our community. Working with them feels like family, so when I got the invite to help bring this new story to life, I said "count me in!" If only these walls could speak, the stories of the old theater they would tell, where love and inclusion wins in the end. Now couples are adding their own love stories to these historic walls, like finding your names etched into an old oak tree. People know they have found the holy grail of wedding venues when they walk through the doors. The care and attention to detail is unparalleled in the Twin Cities, as demonstrated by well thought through signage and cleanliness in this time, as well as responsiveness to each couple's needs. These are just some of many reasons this space always feels like a part of my dream house, but you will it’s the heart of everyone who works here that magically turns it into your forever home.
