Newport RI, A Coast to Coast Love Story

These two really know how to celebrate 12 years of being married! I have now photographed them in 6 different states, California, Oregon, Texas, Minnesota, Oklahoma, and now Rhode Island. Every time it is a new adventure with these two and we always end up going late into the night. Whenever they hit a new milestone in life, the other one shrugs and says, "time to call Andrew!". This time, they wrapped up their New England "leaf peeping" trip in Vermont and decided to head south and meet me in Newport, Rhode Island.  Between the old city and rich sailing history, we made time to take in the warf and charm while sampling some local oysters. As the sun sank, we ran out to the mansion drive where waves crashes and the saltwater mixed in the air with the champaign we brought. Jesse even took us back to how it all began...down on one knee on the oceanfront some 12 years ago.
