Kali and Clark

Wedding Date: October 19th 2024

Kali and Clark’s wedding day was like stepping into a storybook, and I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect couple or a more perfect autumn day. We started the day at home, where Kali was getting ready with her mom by her side. They were all smiles from the moment I arrived, and Kali looked absolutely stunning. Her dress was gorgeous, like it was designed just for her, and the happiness in the room was contagious. The energy built up to a big dress reveal in the living room, where her bridesmaids were waiting. As soon as they saw her, the room erupted with screams, gasps, and pure excitement. They are a lovely group of friends and so supportive and full of energy. Their dresses matched in color but each had a unique style, which added so much personality and was the perfect complement to Kali’s timeless look.

Then Kali stepped outside for a first look with her dad. She walked up to him, and as soon as he turned around, the tears started flowing, happy tears on both sides. You could tell this was a moment he’d been dreaming about, and I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t choking up behind the camera.

From there, we made our way to Lake of the Isles Lutheran Church, where Clark was waiting for us. We found a beautiful stone archway for their first look, and Clark stood there, filled with excitement. When Kali walked up to him and he turned around, the joy on their faces was absolutely unforgettable. They couldn’t stop laughing, they were just so happy to finally see each other. We spent time exploring the grounds and taking in the gorgeous fall day. The autumn colors were at their peak, with vibrant oranges, yellows, and reds filling every frame. Kali’s bouquet fit the season perfectly too. Then we met up with their wedding party, and the fun truly began. This group was full of laughter and excitement and it was impossible not to have a great time with them.

When the ceremony began, everyone took their places, and all nerves melted away the moment Kali and Clark saw each other from opposite ends of the aisle. Their smiles lit up the entire room, and it was as if no one else was there. The ceremony was beautiful and personal, filled with laughter. By the time they walked back down the aisle, they were practically floating, so full of joy and excitement.

On the way to the reception, we stopped at the lake where autumn was really showing off. The colors were breathtaking, and it was the perfect backdrop for a few quiet moments for just the two of them. When we arrived at the Solar Arts Building, the reception space was stunning. Everyone cheered as Kali and Clark made their entrance, and the energy in the room was electric. The sweet and heartfelt toasts brought plenty of happy tears as their loved ones shared how much these two mean to everyone in the room.

Then, the party officially kicked off when Kali and Clark brought out custom beer steins, and the whole room erupted into cheers as everyone raised their glasses to toast to the amazing couple. Their first dance was romantic, surrounded by their loved ones, and after the dancing began, the floor was full all night long. Before the night ended, we snuck away for a short stroll through the warmly lit neighborhood. With the city glowing in the distance, they shared a quiet, beautiful moment together to take it all in. It was the perfect way to end their day.
