Karla & Dan Litchfield Engagement

My friends, Karla and Dan, asked me to come all the way out to Litchfield, MN to photograph their engagement session on a special farm that held so many childhood memories for Dan.  We shot hoops, ran down trails, and even found some mosquitos in the wetlands. As beautiful as Karla looked, her stage had to be shared by a new litter of Golden Retrievers that looked more like baby polar bears than puppies just weeks old. Ironically, one of these pups would find a new home weeks later at a non-profit auction event I photographed, Jack’s Basket. I love when the world of good hearts can come together. We capped the night off at the local Dairy Queen and watched the sun set over the water. It was a truly special session with some very special people.
