There’s something about Willow Brooke Farm that always feels like coming home. As friends of the venue, we’ve had the joy of capturing many love stories on their gorgeous grounds, but every time, it feels fresh and full of life. Katarina and John’s wedding was no exception. It was a day overflowing with joy, sunshine, and the kind of heartfelt moments that make this work so meaningful.

This time, it was our amazing team photographer Ali behind the camera, and she absolutely nailed it. Ali brings such warmth, care, and attention to every wedding she photographs, and her work from this day is nothing short of stunning.

From the start, the energy was warm and welcoming. The day kicked off with a sweet dress reveal to the bridesmaids that was full of laughter and excited gasps and was followed by a quiet exchange of private vows between the couple. Written in matching “his” and “hers” books, their words brought happy tears before the celebration ahead.

Their ceremony took place outdoors next to the vineyard, with big puffy white clouds scattered across a clear blue sky. The grass was vibrant, the breeze was gentle, and everything felt like it was out of a fairytale. One of my favorite touches? Both sets of parents took part in a ring-warming ceremony, passing the couple’s bands between them to fill them with love and blessings before the exchange. It was beautiful and deeply personal. After saying “I do,” Katarina and John walked back down the aisle grinning ear to ear just like they were floating on air.

The evening brought all the best things, a romantic first dance, meaningful toasts from loved ones, a full and lively dance floor, and even a girls-only champagne toast outside under the setting sun. At the golden hour, Ali took Katarina and John for a walk through the vineyard. The vines were just beginning to bud, little signs of the harvest to come, and the light was soft and golden, wrapping the moment in quiet magic.
