Wedding Date: August 5th 2023

This beautiful August day was meant to be enjoyed by the lake, so the gorgeous Hotel Landing in Wayzata was the perfect place for Kristin and Thor. Modern and stylish, the space was ideal for big lake views and cool breezes off the water, while this sweet couple filled every room they entered with overflowing joy and love.

When I arrived, the pair was ready and wearing big smiles to greet me. Kristin’s beautiful bouquet was a fun pop of color against her sleek wedding dress in the modern hotel. They couldn’t stop giggling and Thor would occasionally make a face at Kristin knowing that it would send her into a fit of laughter which would in turn cause him to laugh along. We ventured out to the sailboats in the water nearby. Being near the water is important to them so this stop was high on their list. The pair walked hand in hand on the docks admiring the boats and the surrounding scenery. The cool breeze was refreshing and calming and was the perfect way to lead up to the ceremony.

Back inside Hotel Landing, all of their guests had arrived and it felt like a best friend reunion for the ages. Everyone felt like family and was loving and supportive. When Kristin walked down the aisle you could feel the love radiating from each and every person there. Bits of laughter were sprinkled throughout their sweet vows and the crowd cheered when they were pronounced husband and wife.

Everyone followed them back down the aisle and mingled with some passed hors d'oeuvres before taking their seat at the beautifully decorated tables. Friends lifted their glasses and shared kind words and loving stories while Kristin and Thor laughed along to the shared memories. After they shared their first dance, we made our way outside to enjoy the evening air from the balcony. They laughed and joked around and you just knew these two were absolutely made for one another.
