Lauren and Connor

Wedding Date: August 9th 2025

Lauren and Connor’s wedding day was one of those effortlessly joyful celebrations that remind me why I love what I do. I wasn’t the one behind the camera this time, our incredibly talented team photographer Tasha, captured the whole day with her signature warmth and artistry.

Their day started quietly and beautifully. Tasha spent the morning with each of them as they got ready. Lauren was surrounded by her people in that excited, glowing calm that happens once the hair and makeup are done, and Connor with a few finishing touches before heading out. They chose to share a private first look at Minneapolis Event Centers before heading to the church, and it was the sweetest moment. Just the two of them tucked away, taking a breath together before everything sped up. It set the tone for the entire day.

From there, everyone made their way to the Church of St. Charles Borromeo. The ceremony was classic, meaningful, and beautifully photographed. Tasha captured the emotion and I love the way the light falls in a church when the doors open and everyone rises. After the ceremony, everyone moved outside for more portraits and then headed back toward the river. Standing on the riverbank with the city behind them felt iconic, like the kind of image that defines the start of a new chapter.

From the riverbank, the group wandered down the cobblestone streets. Once everyone returned to The View at Minneapolis Event Centers, the night rolled right into the reception. Guests gathered on the patio and inside for cocktail hour while Tasha captured the reception space before it filled with the glow of candles, table details, and everything perfectly set.

Then came the grand entrance, a warm welcome from the father of the bride, and dinner. The speeches were a highlight and Tasha told me how they were funny, heartfelt, and full of personal stories that had the room laughing and tearing up in equal measure. They cut their cake (a detail especially meaningful to their family), shared more laughs with guests, and celebrated well into the evening. Their first dance was elegant and followed by parent dances that had everyone smiling. And then the dance floor opened and the party truly began. Candids, big moments, small moments, were captured and the night felt full of joy, energy, and love.
