Lauren and Travis
Wedding Date: September 10th
Asking someone to capture your wedding day is a huge honor because you’re essentially letting them into your closest circle of friends on one of the most important days of your life. Lauren and Travis, along with their friends and family, made sure that our incredible Team Photographer, Tasha, felt like part of the family from the moment she arrived. Her warm heart was welcomed with open arms by everyone in attendance and you can see the closeness and trust in the photos. I LOVE how this one turned out!
Tasha arrived at the historic and breathtakingly beautiful Grandview Lodge on an ideal September day that seemed to be made for an outdoor wedding. She was met by Lauren and her bridesmaids who immediately shared their inside jokes which had everyone laughing hysterically all morning. Laughing and taking gorgeous photos is not for the weak of heart, so this was a real pro move haha! After a beautiful moment with her father, Lauren and Tasha made their way into the wooded trails of the property where Travis was waiting. Lauren’s soft footsteps were the only thing to be heard and as the leaves crunched under her feet, Travis’ smile grew wider as he waited to see his bride. After wiping the tears and filling the air with laughter, they explored the beautiful grounds and took in the scenery on this ideal picturesque day.
Once all the guests were in place and the music trailed up the grand staircase, Lauren made her way down to Travis, arm in arm with her father. Their ceremony was filled with the sound of seagulls in the distance and the couples laughter as they giddily exchanged their vows. Their wedding party could hardly wait to ambush them after they walked down the aisle with hugs and cheers. They all decided to take the party down to the lakeshore and celebrate in style. After their friends made their way up to the reception hall, Lauren and Travis stayed back for a little while to enjoy the setting sun and the fact that they just got married. It’s always so important to take these quiet moments so you can remember your feelings of excitement and happiness and let them fill you up.
Back at the Lodge with the reception in full swing, toasts were heard and the dances began. Tasha and everyone at Grandview felt like they were watching close friends get married as they spun on the dancefloor. That’s exactly who these two are, kind, loving, and welcoming. We’re so lucky to get to meet such amazing people and capture their love story every single weekend. Wishing you both the very best!
