I Do Day: September 5th 2020

Lauren's brother is enlisted in the Navy and was told he couldn't leave the state with the current state of the world so everyone decided to go to him! Lauren and Brian contacted me and told me they were likely keeping their date for a special small ceremony in Virginia and wondered if we could make this new “I Do Day” work. I knew I had to do whatever I could to still join them in Virginia since so much had already changed around them and perhaps I could be the one constant. Happily, I made it safely to Virgina and the ceremony was perfection and sweet. Our adventures around the grounds were stunning and the reception back at her brother's home felt like it was supposed to be that way from the beginning. When I boarded my flight the next day I was still glowing from the happy memories that were made.
