Liz & Ryan Engagement

When I started to talk to Liz and Ryan about their engagement session we had a lot of ideas around the city and in their Edina community. But then I asked the question, “what makes you the happiest?” They both stopped and immediately said, “the family cabin.” So just like that, I was off to meet them for an afternoon at the lake to capture their love story in their happy place. Their sweet little pup joined us halfway through the session and I quickly realized the lake is HIS happy place! We could barely keep him out of the water long enough to get a few family photos and then he was right back in, tail wagging. We had a relaxed session around the grounds from the woods, to hammock, and ending it all watching the sun set over the lake. We talked about their wedding plans and I internally thanked Rachelle of Style-Architects Weddings & Events for connecting me with these two amazing people.
