Matt and Luke

Wedding Date: May 17th 2025

I knew this day was going to be something special from the moment I met Matt and Luke. They’re the kind of couple who lead with kindness and wit, easy to be around, deeply connected, and impossible not to root for. So when I found myself standing just a few steps away as they exchanged private vows in a quiet corner of The Depot, I wasn’t surprised when the tears came, mine included.

That private vow exchange set the tone for everything that followed. What I loved most was how present they were with their people. This wasn’t just a party (though it absolutely delivered on that front too). It was a celebration of who they are, the lives they’ve built, and the people who helped shape them along the way.

From there, the afternoon unfolded out in the city. Minneapolis gave us everything, sun, skyline, and that energy you can only get downtown. We had a charter bus take the entire wedding party around to some of the best spots in the Mill City District. Stone Arch Bridge, and Gold Medal Park with each stop gave us new light, new backgrounds, new laughs. It felt like we had the entire city at our feet.

Back at The Depot, we wrapped up family photos before everyone tucked away for the ceremony. The room filled quickly, buzzing with excitement, and the ceremony itself was beautiful and joy-filled, warm, and overflowing with support from the people who love them most. When they walked back up the aisle, their faces said everything: pure happiness.

Just after the ceremony, Matt and Luke slipped into the Flamingo Room for a private toast before the reception began. If you’ve ever been to a wedding where the speeches feel like a comedy show mixed with a love letter, this was one of them. The toasts had everyone laughing until they cried. Stories were shared, inside jokes were revealed, and every word made it clear how deeply these two are loved.

Their first dances brought the whole room together, and from there the dance floor never emptied. The energy was electric and every person was shoulder-to-shoulder, singing, dancing, celebrating. It was the kind of reception you wish you could bottle up and replay later.

Before the night wrapped, we slipped out for an evening stroll under a soft skyline glow, and the hum of the city settling behind them. Matt and Luke’s wedding felt like everything we hope to capture: connection, community, and love that radiates outward. A Minneapolis day from start to finish, and an unforgettable one at that.
