Michelle and Michael

Wedding Date: August 20th 2022

It’s not often that you meet two people that make you smile just by the mention of their name, but that is definitely Michelle and Michael for me. I was honored to join them back in May for a courthouse-style wedding at the Landmark Center with only their family in attendance. After a beautiful stroll through the historic building and its surroundings, we joined up with their loved ones who are equally as fun and they immediately made me laugh until my cheeks hurt. Then with after a quick exchange of vows, they burst through the doors of the Landmark with confetti raining down like something out of a movie. Normally at this point in the day I would send my congratulations and head home, but they welcomed me into their family and invited me for the post-ceremony celebration as a guest. I was completely humbled and honored, but then again that’s just who they are, a couple of amazing and welcoming people who I’m very lucky to know.

After they enjoyed married bliss for a few months, August rolled around and their next celebration was ready to begin at the stunning and equally historic, Hazeltine National Golf Club. They had a lot of family coming from all over the globe and the focus was on the love and support of everyone around them. Michelle wowed everyone in her stunning dress from Beverly Hills and it fit with the classic 1950’s vibe of the day. The couple and I explored the beautiful grounds and felt like we had won the lottery with this incredible day. They kept me laughing and by the time we were walking back to the family, my cheeks hurt once again, so I knew it had been a great day. They all gathered around to embrace one another in lieu of vows before heading to the ballroom for more laughter and some amazing food. I felt welcomed into their family once again and they even invited Janelle and the boys to the reception. The band was incredible and it kept the party going late into the evening. We snuck away during a break to take in the last rays of light on the fairways and their famous bridge over the creek. I couldn’t help but look into the camera and gasp at how stunning this scene was and know that I was so incredibly lucky to share it with two amazing people. Thank you for sharing your love story and opening your hearts to me.
