Wedding Date: August 2nd 2020

Michelle and Dan have long lived like an old married couple, just not old and just not yet married. Every time they started to plan their wedding, a baby surprise would derail their plans. Three beautiful kids later and in the midst of a world pandemic, why not make it happen now?! Dan paused his successful video production company, Summit Hill Studios, which was named Best Videographer in the 2020 Minnesota Bride Best Of Awards, for a day to celebrate his own bride and take in life's goodness. It reminded me of when I visited Sweden, where life together was agreed upon long before the formality of a wedding. Dan had been longtime friends with Esera Tuaolo, a vocalist from The Voice and a former Minnesota Viking, who served up a touch of the aloha spirit a he doubled as the officiant and wedding singer. After their vows, the couple signed a specially made "Riggs" jersey. Then, they were off to the beautiful barn at Camrose Hill for their first dance together. Part two of this day would be adventures around Stillwater before their epic send-off aboard an historic paddle boat as it blew its horn goodbye and welcomed the new married couple.
