Rebecca & Terri Destination: Los Angeles, CA
Wedding Date: January 18th 2019
I met these two in Costa Rica zip lining from tree top to tree top. No joke. They’re part of a stellar community from the Peace Corp that fly across the globe to support each other. They have ink for every major life moment and spend time with every artist that will imprint on their life before committing. I must say, we both left a sizable impression on each other in Costa Rica, as the two had just started dating and Janelle and I could tell we would never meet another pair like this. Boy, were we right!
Their wedding vision took them to a lavender farm and ranch on the far outskirts of Los Angeles. This estate even is home to a 1,000 year old oak tree, fitting of two people infatuated with trees and the relational symbolism that they embody. The clouds and rain leading up to the wedding day finally gave way to rays of sunshine as the two ladies got ready in their respective lodges. They simply couldn't wait to lay eyes on each other! My heart beat alongside theirs, every step, and together we made some of my favorite art to date. This is the start of something big that none of us will ever forget. You are loved by the Vicks and rooted in such goodness! May you lend a supportive branch to those in need and a canopy of protection to your community always.
