Wedding Date: May 15th, 2021

This day was filled with light, both literally and figuratively. Sara is the brightest, sweetest person you could ever ask for and a Jersey girl to the very core. Her other half, Josh, loves deeply and it shows in his relationships with both Sara and everyone in attendance. This was a day everyone had marked in their calendars as the event of 2021 and definitely something to look forward to. Josh really knocked it out of the park in the gift giving front. He surprised Sara with a blanket with a message from her father in his handwriting and a heart shaped pillow that when you hug it will play a recording of her father singing. He also surprised her with a special message from Chris Harrison, host of the Bachelor and Bachelorette. My wife and I are big fans as well, so I have to admit I was a bit starstruck.

Josh is a huge photography and videography fan, so bringing on the incredibly talented team from Dan West Films was the perfect fit. Josh had even hand selected a few of his favorite places around Stillwater! It was fun to see the city through his eyes and be able to capture their love story at a number of locations around town. Once the ceremony began, guests were treated to a real surprise as Sara walked through pillars of cold sparklers. It was an entrance I won’t soon forget! The bigger, the sparkler, the better. I couldn’t agree more. After we enjoyed charming toasts during the beautifully decorated reception, the dance party let loose and we decided to move the cold sparklers outside. I’ll let the images speak for themselves, but know we had everyone from prom-goers, to neighbors, to a few skateboarders stop by to admire the show.
