From the moment I met Shira and Ashley, it was clear that their connection was something rare and beautiful and their wedding day was a perfect reflection of the love they’ve found in each other. This is the type of love that people dream about.

I joined them at the stylish Hewing Hotel where we began their day on the rooftop for their first look. The amazing views of downtown Minneapolis stretched out before us, creating a backdrop that made the world feel as though it was at their feet. As they shared their first look, they laughed and held each other close, completely in the moment. It was as if time itself had paused just for them. We then headed back inside for a quick stop at The Hewing’s stylish bar. The atmosphere was relaxed and full of warmth as they sipped on signature cocktails, savoring each second together.

Their wedding party joined us for a spontaneous game of pool that quickly turned into laughter. As we moved through the day, I couldn’t help but feel lucky to witness such genuine moments of love and friendship. The surrounding area provided the perfect setting for some more fun photos with their friends and family, capturing the essence of their relationship in a city they both love. But the heart of the day awaited us back inside as they prepared for the ceremony.

Friends and family gathered, their faces lighting up with smiles as Shira and Ashley made their way down the aisle. It was impossible not to get swept up in the emotion of the moment, tears of joy flowed freely as they exchanged vows, and the room erupted in cheers when they were pronounced married.

Before joining their guests, they shared a private dance in the now-empty reception room. It was a beautifully quiet moment, filled with the kind of romance that novels are written about. As the reception unfolded, heartfelt toasts brought laughter and more tears, each story shared a reflection of the deep connections they have built with those around them. The evening continued with a romantic dance in the dimly lit reception room. But soon, the dance floor was alive with guests, and Shira and Ashley were lifted onto chairs, surrounded by a sea of cheering faces.

The night ended as it began, back on the rooftop with the world at their feet. The city lights twinkled below, but nothing could outshine the love that these two share.
