Thailand Adventures

We wanted to fly far away, like very far away. Thailand was a bucket list item for many years and honestly a place we thought we may never get to as we were talking about starting a family. Then as fate would have it, we found out we were pregnant with our first child so we decided to book the trip and turn it into our baby moon and boy, did we live it up!

It was an amazing coincidence that we were able to connect with friends our entire trip. We met up with a fellow photographer couple and before we knew it, we had a trip to Bond Island (James Bond filming location) in the works on the other side of the world. It was a blind double date of sorts but seven years later, the Liens have become close friends we adore and cheer on one another in life! Our next friends on the list were the Ankrums. They flew up from Singapore to meet us in Krabi for some island hopping and scooter island adventures.  Then, we connected with our former Vick Photography team member, Jenna, who was teaching English in Thailand for some great food and stories before we were whisked away for city night tours. We’re so fortunate to be so loved and to have these amazing people in our lives!

After exploring some caves and taking in the majestic beaches of the Phoeket region, we headed into the jungle North where we connected with friends.  While we were at a market in town, I heard my name and turned to see my buddy’s mother waving at me from across the night market! What are the chances?! We then ventured further north on scooters where we stayed at a modern hotel followed and took in some serene yoga deep in the jungle. After a mind-blowing cooking class with the head chef, it was time to blow our friend's minds back home by posting the news that were expecting our first child, Diem, and begin a new chapter of adventure for our family. Thank you for the memories and love, Thailand!
