Picture this: a New Year's Eve wedding, two volleyball coaches, one prim and proper Minnesota girl, one certified (and self proclaimed) knucklehead from Buffalo, and a love story that reads like the trailer for a movie you'd actually want to watch. Opposites attract, and on this particular night, they attracted right into a gorgeous winter wedding.

Our incredible Team Photographer, Erin, met the couple at Earl and Wilson. Amanda's dress was a stunning pinup inspired classic that was absolutely stunning. Her bridesmaids matched the whole vibe in black velvet, giving the entire look this classic, old Hollywood glamour that fit a New Year's Eve wedding perfectly. The dress reveal delivered exactly the reaction you hope for, gasps, excitement, the whole room lighting up.

They kept the first look brief and then headed out into a nearby square to soak in the snow and the winter landscape, and I'll be honest, there's something about a couple in formal wear standing in fresh snow that never gets old. From there they met up with the wedding party for a toast at a bar, and it was evident that this group knew how to have a good time. Fun energy, easy laughter, exactly what you want surrounding a couple on their wedding day.

The ceremony took place indoors, and it was gorgeous, warm and sweet. A private champagne toast followed immediately after, which felt like the perfect way to kick off the celebration before everyone headed to the reception for dinner.

Toasts were sweet and heartfelt, striking that balance between funny and genuinely touching. Their first dance was easy and unhurried, and the father-daughter dance that followed brought its own sweet moment to a day that had already been full of big energy. All in all, exactly the kind of classic, personality-packed celebration we love being part of.
