Angie and Nick Engagement

I’ve known Angie’s family for nearly 20 years. I’ve photographed their senior photos, weddings, and feel like one of the family. When Angie called me to tell me she found the perfect guy and they’re getting married, I was completely over the moon! Janelle and I invited them over to the house for a celebratory drink and started talking about wedding planning and dreaming about the future. I knew I had to come up with something really special for these two so I began watching the fall colors and stalking the best trees in the area. When their session arrived, I had the perfect place scooped out along Minnehaha Creek. Their session was in November which most Minnesotans don’t think of as prime color season, but it’s one of my favorites. There are always colorful leaves on the ground and bright reds fill the trees. Color is everywhere, sometimes you just need to know where to look.
