Cecelia and Jacob
Wedding Date: July 11th 2025
Cecelia and Jacob’s wedding day felt like one of those days where everything lands exactly as it should. From the moment I arrived at the Hutton House, I knew it was going to be special. We’re very close with the team there, and walking into a space where everyone feels like family always sets the tone for something really good.
The day began in the bright bridal suite, flooded with natural light and color. The girls were all in matching pajamas, bright flowers everywhere, laughter bouncing off the walls. Cecelia was calm and radiant, soaking it all in while her friends buzzed around her. It was styled beautifully without feeling forced, everything intentional, everything easy.
One of the most emotional moments of the day came early. Cecelia shared a first look with her dad, and as a father myself, it hit me right in the chest. I absolutely teared up behind the camera.
Cecelia and Jacob’s first look happened next, and they had the main hall completely to themselves. When they saw each other, it felt like everything else faded away for a minute. Once we joined up with their wedding party, we wandered the grounds together, taking advantage of the beauty surrounding the venue. There was a sense of ease to the whole afternoon, no pressure, no rush, just people enjoying being together.
The ceremony was held in the lakeside room and was decorated with the most thoughtful, minimal touches. A guitarist and vocalist filled the space with music, and the ceremony unfolded with intention and heart. Afterward, everyone gathered back in the main hall for cocktail hour. One of my favorite moments was watching toasts from the staircase, guests with glasses raised, stories spilling out into the room. When it was time for Cecelia and Jacob’s first dance, the crowd parted and formed a circle around them. They danced surrounded by the people who love them most.
As the light outside began to soften, I pulled Cecelia and Jacob away for just a few minutes. We walked down to the lake and stood on the dock, watching the sky turn color after color as the sun dipped low. It was quiet, peaceful, and the perfect pause before heading back into the celebration.
Cecelia and Jacob, thank you for trusting me to document such a meaningful day, it was an honor to be there for all of it.
