Laura and Tyler

Wedding Date: July 17th 2025

Laura and Tyler’s wedding at Almquist Farm was the kind of summer celebration that just felt like love from beginning to end. Warm, golden, joy-filled, every detail perfectly matched the energy these two bring into a room.

They chose to do a first look outside along a quiet path, surrounded by lush green foliage. It was just the two of them, tucked away from the buzz of the day. Tyler turned around, saw Laura, and you could feel the weight of the moment settle into something soft and real. This wasn’t just about seeing each other, it was the official start of their celebration, a long-awaited exhale, and yes… a few happy tears.

After that, we met up with their wedding party and had an absolute blast exploring the grounds. The group was full of personality, sisters, close friends, and even a cowboy hat made an appearance. Laughter came easy, and so did the photos.

Their ceremony took place beneath a canopy of towering trees with views that stretched out over the rolling hills behind them. It was one of those settings where nature takes the lead, no need for elaborate decor, just sunlight filtering through leaves and the quiet hum of crickets.

And then came the sunset.

Laura and Tyler had told me about their tradition of sunset strolls, and when the light started turning gold, we slipped away from the reception to honor that ritual. We visited the resident goats, wandered through open fields, and let the sky do its magic. The light was warm and buttery, the kind you hope for as a photographer, and they were glowing.

We made our way back to the reception, where sweet and hilarious toasts had everyone cheering and wiping away laughter tears. The groomsman in the cowboy hat raised his glass high, and everyone followed suit. When Laura and Tyler shared their first dance as Mr. and Mrs., surrounded by the people who love them most, it was pure joy.

Laura and Tyler, thank you for trusting me with your story. Your love, your people, and your sunset strolls were an absolute honor to capture.
