Wedding Date: June 1st 2024

I get to witness and capture some pretty amazing moments, but Christa and Zach’s wedding truly stands out. Their day was a perfect reflection of their love, faith, and the incredible community they've built around them. Their journey began in an unexpected place when he was a bouncer at a bar. Now fast forward, and he's an officer in the Marine Corps and they share their lives with two lovable pit bulls who bring so much joy to their home.

The wedding day was nothing short of magical. They each got ready in separate spaces as they decided to skip a first look and see one another as Christa walked down the aisle with her dad. It felt right out of a movie when all the guests were seated and Zach stood at the altar with his eyes fixed on the door. Christa and her dad pulled up in the car, took a deep breath, and walked down the aisle toward him. Her dad couldn’t hold back the emotions as much as he tried and let the tears stream down his face as he walked arm in arm with his daughter. Honestly I’m getting a bit emotional just reliving that moment. There wasn’t a dry eye in the room and when the pair was finally united, everyone wiped their tears and only smiles and laughter were present from that moment on.

Family and faith were at the heart of this celebration. The effort they put into the floral arrangements and little details was clear, showing just how much their loved ones mean to them. Christa was an absolute vision, rocking three stunning dresses throughout the day. During the cocktail hour, she wowed everyone by changing into a gorgeous champagne dress that looked straight out of an awards show. Their love for each other and their friends and family was so evident. They've worked hard to stay connected with their loved ones, and it really showed.

The energy and emotion of the day were infectious. Everyone was so happy to be there, celebrating under a perfect sky with not a cloud in sight. The couple’s families were all about love and welcoming everyone with open arms and their crew came ready to dance and celebrate, making the reception a lively, unforgettable party. After some touching toasts and their first dance, the dance floor filled and Christa surprised everyone once more with her final party dress. No one was more taken than Zach, who swept her off her feet and they danced the night away with their backwards caps holding one another in their arms and laughing as they glided across the dance floor. I’m so grateful to have been part of such a beautiful blend of love, faith, and community.
