Christina and Aaron
Wedding Date: June 18th 2022
Everyone who knew Christina and Aaron knew they would end up together forever and after many months of planning, their big day was finally here. I met them at Interlachen, so it felt like a hometown party just a few streets away from my house in Edina. I joined the ladies in a bright and airy bridal suite that was filled with lots of laughs and witty banter. They kept me laughing throughout the getting ready photos and then before we knew it, it was time for the first look. Everyone was so excited to be part of this special moment, so I set it up on the grand staircase so their friends and family could watch from the balcony above while still giving the couple a little moment all to themselves.
Interlachen looked stunning with the perfect mix of floral decor and showing off the beauty of the space. Ashley Cook and the team made sure the day was running smoothly and everything was in its place ahead of the ceremony. Once the guests had all been seated and warm sunlight filled the space, the ceremony music started and the moment was finally here. It was sweet and heartfelt and when they danced down the aisle they were met with joyous cheers from all their loved ones.
We decided to grab a golf cart and enjoy the burst of sun before their reception began. Guests enjoyed a lovely cocktail hour back at the club while we explored the green surroundings. Beautiful oranges and reds began filling the sky just in time and we took full advantage of the romantic atmosphere. Back at the club, the room had been flipped and everything was perfectly in its place and ready for the reception to begin, complete with a neon sign welcoming the newlyweds. Toasts took place in the candlelit room while everyone enjoyed the delicious food and wine pairings. Normally first dances happen while the crowd mingles, but these first dances were not to be missed! The couple twirled and captured the attention of everyone in the room before handing off to the mother/son and father/daughter dances that were equally breathtaking and fun. As the sky went from orange and red, to the cool blue of night, I smiled as I looked back on the dance party still in full swing as seen in the big picture windows.
