Dani and Boston
Wedding Date: May 20th 2022
The Minneapolis wedding venue, Aria, has always been a place that’s close to our heart, filled with amazing people and memories. They announced this year that they will be closing their doors as a wedding venue and going in a different direction. Needless to say, everyone in the industry was heartbroken to say goodbye to this beautiful space. This wedding turned out to be not just a celebration for the couple, but a celebration of all the love and joy that has filled this space. So here’s to Dani and Boston, and here’s to Aria!
Dani and Boston are two of the sweetest people you could ever meet. They have a habit of collecting other amazing people too, so when they started planning their wedding, they knew everyone had to be included. It was one of the biggest celebrations I’ve been to in a long time and it felt incredible. I met Dani in the bridal suite that morning as she was putting on her finishing touches while her friends anxiously awaited the big reveal. They decided to do a big dress reveal by going into the suite in pairs, holding hands, so they could all have a special moment with their dear Dani. Every pair was full of laughter and happy tears and it was one of my favorite dress reveals I’ve ever seen.
Aria really opened their doors to us and it felt like we had an all access pass! After a sweet first look, we explored the venue and sought out some never before seen locations that were pretty stunning. Our incredible Team Photographer, Steven Garcia, joined me for this fun adventure. Dani was simply glowing as she seemed to float through every space she entered with Boston in toe. Every now and then, he would burst into tears because he was just so overwhelmed with the excitement of it all. Like I said, these two are the sweetest!
We made our way back downstairs for a gorgeous ceremony filled with all of their loved ones. We took to the city streets with a bottle of champagne to celebrate and toast the new couple! They were very intentional about building in quiet spaces where they could spend one on one time with each other and really take in the day. Your wedding has a tendency to speed past, so taking this time to slow down was so important. After a lovely walk in the city streets, we made our way back to Aria to close their celebration with a lively reception. Steven covered their party and enjoyed all of the touching toasts and first dances. Then, as the night came to an end, they took one last wedding photo with the Aria sign.
This is one that will stay in my memory banks for years to come. Thank you both so much for opening your hearts and sharing your love story with us!
