Elizabeth and Joe

Wedding Date: October 11th 2025

From the moment I pulled up to Rush Creek Golf Club, I had a feeling this day was going to feel different, and in the best way. Elizabeth and Joe aren't just marrying each other. They're a family, and that showed in every single moment of the day.

Elizabeth's look stopped me in my tracks. Tattoos and a bow, somehow both edgy and soft at the same time, and completely her. It was the kind of detail that told you exactly who she is before she ever said a word.

We headed up to the top of the hill on the course for their first look, and honestly, the golf course backdrop gave us something special. Rolling green, wide open sky, and just the two of them for a minute before the day swept them up. From there we moved through wedding party photos, small group, big energy, the kind of crew that makes every photo feel like it's mid-laugh.

But if I'm being honest, the real stars of the day were their kids. Their daughter as flower girl, their son as ring bearer, and you could feel it, this wasn't a wedding with kids in it. This was a family becoming official, with their kids standing right there at the center of it. Every photo with all of them together hit different. That's what this day was really about.

The ceremony took place in the main lodge, small and intimate, no big production, just the people who mattered most, watching Elizabeth and Joe make it official. Cocktail hour gave everyone a chance to mingle before we slipped out for a sundown stroll. The light was doing exactly what twilight hour does best, and Elizabeth and Joe took a minute to just be together, away from the noise. Those quiet minutes are always my favorite to capture.

Dinner brought everyone into the dining room under a head table setup that felt more like a family reunion than a formal affair. Toasts and speeches were personal, a little funny, a little emotional, exactly what you'd hope for from the people who know this couple best.

Before the night wrapped, Elizabeth and Joe snuck away for something I don't get to photograph often, the two of them lighting up cigars together, just enjoying being married and being them and a celebration that felt exactly as warm and personal as they are.
