Elizabeth and Kai

Wedding Date: July 19th 2026

I have to admit some personal bias walking into this one, because I truly adore the St. Paul College Club. There's something about the building itself, all that rich historic architecture, warm wood detailing, an old-world elegance that somehow never feels stuffy, that makes every wedding here feel like it's being staged inside a beautifully preserved secret. I always look forward to a day here, and Elizabeth and Kai's did not disappoint.

Their first look happened outside, surrounded by lush green, and it delivered smiles, laughter, and a little bit of joyful disbelief on both their faces. From there we wandered the grounds together for a while, soaking in the scenery before their wedding party joined in, bringing an instant boost of energy and laughter that carried through the rest of the afternoon.

The ceremony took place outdoors, sunlight filtering down through the trees in these soft, dappled patches of gold, landing right on Elizabeth and Kai as they exchanged vows. The whole thing was full of joy and laughter while being surrounded by everyone who loves them. The second they walked back down the aisle, I pulled them into a quiet green pocket of the property to take full advantage of that same gorgeous light streaming through the trees, and it gave us some of the most beautiful, glowing portraits of the whole day.

One of my favorite surprises of the afternoon: they'd brought in an ice cream truck for guests, and Elizabeth and Kai got the very first pick. A SpongeBob ice pop and a sundae. It made the whole thing feel wonderfully unserious in the middle of an otherwise elegant celebration.

Back inside, the reception filled with warmth as friends and family stood up to share toasts, some funny, some touching, including a few words from Elizabeth's grandfather that added a beautiful layer of generational love to the evening. Their first dance followed, full of twirls and dips that had the whole room watching, completely swept up in how clearly smitten these two are with each other. A day full of laughter, light, and a little bit of ice cream mixed in for good measure, exactly the kind of celebration this venue was made for.
