Emily and Andy

Wedding Date: October 2nd 2021

Whenever I see the Semple Mansion pop up on a new client inquiry, I know that the couple will likely be a good fit. The classic elegance seems to draw just the right people and we always hit it off in a big way. Emily and Andy were no exception and I actually met them at the Semple Mansion wedding fair! Sweet and oh so in love, they were a joy and I felt I could talk to them forever. On their wedding day, I entered the mansion and was greeted by a blown-up photo of their Tinder profiles at the welcome table as a nod to the beginning of their relationship. I met the guys downstairs for some dramatic Gatsby inspired photos before heading to the bridal suite. Emily was an absolute vision and seemed to glow from head to toe. We decided to continue the Gatsby and 20’s vibes into their first look with some dramatic lighting. Once the guests arrived, we were treated to a delightful ceremony topped off with cheers and applause. We boarded a party bus and were off to the famous Stone Arch Bridge for some classic Minneapolis views of the city skyline. The leaves were really showing off with bright yellows and oranges everywhere we turned. It had rained earlier as well so we were able to take full advantage of the moody sky and extra vibrant colors. Then, back to the mansion for a grand entrance. These two love living life together and it shows. All of the toasts were thoughtful and sweet, knowing the couple were the perfect pair. The rain slowly made its way back in the evening, so we grabbed a few umbrellas and some fun lighting and were off to showcase the mansion and these two lovebirds. Thank you both for inviting me to capture your love story!
