Emy and Tyler

Wedding Date: January 31st 2026

Emy and Tyler have been together for nearly six years, and if I'm being honest, you can feel that kind of history in the way two people move around each other on a wedding day. No nerves, just two people who know exactly who they're marrying. They did things their own way too, house first, puppy second, wedding third, and somehow that order made the whole day feel even more like them.

The dress reveal hit exactly the right note, sweet and genuine, and then we headed outside for their first look right in the middle of sun and snow, which is about as Minnesota-winter as it gets. The wedding party joined shortly after, and this group brought serious energy, easy laughter, all the right chaos. I loved that every single one of the bridesmaids wore boots under their dresses. Practical, stylish, and honestly the smartest decision anyone made all day given the snow on the ground.

The ceremony happened indoors, with everyone seated right at their tables, casual and warm in a way that fit the whole vibe of the day perfectly. Afterward we slipped back outside with Emy and Tyler to chase golden hour, and I mean chase it, because the light that evening was genuinely unreal. We even got them into their white pickup truck for a few shots, and if you want proof that elegant and outdoorsy can absolutely coexist, that's it right there. The sunset that night gave us color I couldn't have manufactured if I tried.

Back inside, the reception carried that same relaxed warmth, sweet toasts that clearly came from people who've watched this relationship grow over the years, and a first dance that felt easy and full of love, the kind where you can tell the couple is just enjoying being married instead of worrying about who's watching.
