Wedding Date: January 8th 2022

When I woke up the morning of Haley and Patrick’s wedding, I could feel that special spark fill the air and knew something great was just around the corner. A beautiful winter wonderland revealed itself as I walked out to the car as a fresh blanket of snow covered the ground. I joined the pair at the stunning Saint Paul College Club where both were completing their finishing touches and you could feel the butterflies and excitement. They currently live in New York and wanted to celebrate in Minnesota with their friends and family. It really did feel like a homecoming because they used to live in a house just behind the Saint Paul College Club so it was surreal being back in their old neighborhood but now, after years of seeing wedding celebrations from afar, they would be the ones saying “I do!”

Finally it was time for their first look among the snowy banks under the big blue sky. Haley stepped out of the Club all smiles as she walked toward her one true love, snow crunching beneath her feet. Loved ones started to fill the Club and we all made our way inside for a small ceremony adorned with flowers from the remarkably talented Haute House Studio. Evening comes early in January, so when we stepped out after their ceremony, the cafe lights were already twinkling in the cool blue light. We took a stroll and with the help of a handy iPhone, the lighting was perfect. Your best tools are sometimes the ones at hand!

The reception looked incredible and everyone at the Club was so welcoming and hospitable, it felt like walking into someone's home rather than an event venue. As the night came to a close, the blue dance floors seemed to match the cool blue light outside, bringing everything full circle. Thank you both for inviting me into your beautiful day and I can’t wait to see where life takes you!
