Hannah and Daniel

July 16th 2022

I'm always excited when I get in the car to drive down to Red Wing, and this time there's no different. As I drove into the historic downtown, it felt like the entire city was getting ready for the union of Hannah and Daniel.

We started the day at the stunning St. James Hotel in the heart of town surrounded by historic architecture and charm. Hannah is the picture of sweet, polite, and organized, so when I arrived all of the ladies were excited and ready to get started. After exploring the hotel and a very touching first look with her father, we were ready to go outside so she could see Daniel for the first time that day. Equal parts joyous laughter and tears, the world seemed to stand still while they twirled and embraced, excited that their day was finally here.

We made our way to the incredibly beautiful Villa Maria for their ceremony. Surrounded by lush greenery, vines, and castle-like architecture, I was swimming in inspiration. Their beautiful outdoor ceremony began right on cue and they exchanged vows under old oak trees with all of their loved ones watching on. Flower petals were thrown as confetti when they were pronounced husband and wife as they danced down the aisle.

On our way back to the St. James Hotel, we stopped at one of my favorite overlooks that encapsulates the stunning views that you get in Red Wing. Back at the hotel, a feeling of history that hung in the air, made all the more special by the fact that Hannah and Daniel would now be part of this historic hotel's grand story of love. The food was fantastic and the hospitality was out of this world. After sweet toasts and some dancing, we made our way outside for a quick twilight photo shoot to toast to the new couple and they're amazing new life together.
