Hannah and George
Wedding Date: July 9th, 2022
This wedding was different and special from the moment it began. I rolled up to a beautiful private home to the sound of a leaf blower off in the distance. When I got closer, I realized it was none other than the father of the bride making sure that every single blade of grass was perfectly in place. This was truly a labor of love and he was beaming with pride and completely in his element. As I walked through the gorgeous home, people were buzzing about the brand new wedding venue in town, however this was no venue, instead it was a perfectly manicured home that was ready and waiting specifically for this big day to celebrate Hannah and George.
When I met up with the wedding party, there was a sense of peace, relaxation, and ease that you don't normally see on a wedding morning. Hannah continued the relaxed vibe by pulling on socks and tennis shoes instead of sky-high heels. She finished putting on the finishing touches, we walked through the perfectly manicured grass toward George, who is standing in front of a beautiful red barn waiting for their first look to begin. They were all smiles when he turned around and the relaxed vibe turned into pure excitement.
The team at Simply Elegant assembled the most beautiful outdoor ceremony that was filled in flowers and charm. The chosen colors and decor perfectly complemented the surroundings and before we knew it the ceremony began. Guess admired the couple while holding their glass of champagne from the nearby champagne cart that greeted them upon entry. A sweet breeze filled the air as sunlight filtered through the trees above perfectly let the happy couple below.
They kissed, and happily danced down the aisle toward the tent set up on the other side of the lawn. The ceremony seamlessly flowed into the reception that was filled with heartfelt toasts and lots of dancing on the beautiful wood ballroom floor. Hannah and George were having the time of their lives but secretly couldn't wait to jump on their gator to explore the grounds. Champagne in hand, we visited cornfields, tall grasses, and ended the night at the stunningly decorated silo. We arrived just as the sun set and twinkle lights lit up the sky. A perfect end to a perfect day.
