Wedding Date: August 12th 2023

When your heart lives in Italy but your home is in the midwest, you choose the best of both worlds. For Hannah and Jon this meant the stunning vineyard and venue, Villa Bellezza. Our amazing team photographer Tasha joined the pair and their loved ones on this beautiful summery day among the grape vines.

Both Hannah and Jon are sweet and laid back but when it was time for their first look they were both beyond excited. Jon waited outside with his back to the door and a huge smile spread across his face the second he heard Hannah’s steps behind him. They were giddy and excited and it was so adorable! Then Hannah went and grabbed something special while the groomsmen all filed outside for a bridal reveal. They stood in a line with their eyes closed tight and when Hannah gave the ok they opened them to see Hannah standing in front of them holding a case of Smirnoff Ice. Their reaction to being “iced” was hilarious and they could hardly stop laughing as they tried to down a bottle of the cool blue.

We then made our way to a sweet little Catholic church that held a lot of meaning to them and their families. The priest greeted them with open arms as the guests started to arrive and take their seats. After Hannah made a beautiful grand entrance, the priest delivered a heartfelt and equally hilarious message to the crowd that had everyone smiling. After exchanging their vows the pair happily ran outside to celebrate with their wedding party before traveling back to Villa Bellezza.

The vineyard was the perfect setting for their newlywed celebration. The sun started to hang lower in the sky and cast a beautiful golden light through the vines. Tasha guided them through row after row of the vineyard to catch the perfect light and the perfect angle as the guests filled the beautifully decorated reception hall. After dinner the warm weather cooled, so the party quickly spread out into the vineyard to enjoy the sunset and gorgeous end of summer weather. Hannah and Jon joined Tasha for a dreamy stroll through the grounds taking in every last bit of light.
