Harry Potter Themed Engagement

There’s a common saying when talking about weddings, "there is magic in the air." Well, Elena and Doug wanted us to take this quite literally with a Harry Potter themed engagement session! Glowing wands, floating candles in the ‘Great Hall’, Harry Potter onesies, and of course, the books themselves! 

Elena made special arrangements at her alma matter in Northfield to give us the perfect Harry Potter vibes. As a movie makeup artist herself, she has a keen eye for detail and draws inspiration everywhere, especially in her relationship with Doug. The rain covered us all afternoon and for many it would be an unwelcomed weather pattern, but not for this couple! We danced in the rain and made magic of our own with some special lighting tricks and a cute umbrella. This was such a fun and extra special session since we were able to collaborate to create the art and theme of their dreams.
