I Do Day

I Do Day: March 20th, 2020

With the world changing around us, we wanted to offer a beautiful new idea to couples facing the prospect of moving their wedding date. We know how much time, effort, and love you have put into planning your perfect wedding, so we want to offer the idea of celebrating twice!

Here’s how it works; whenever possible, keep your original wedding date and set this as your “I Do Day.” Invite the approved number of guests, wear something you love (many brides save their dress for part 2), and exchange your vows in a location that’s special to you. We will be there to capture the love and special moments that can truly only happy at this special type of ceremony.

Then, set your party date as a part 2 in the future so you have time to reschedule with vendors and your venue. Many couples choose a date around their 1 year anniversary and wear their suit and wedding dress to make the day extra special for everyone. We can’t wait to celebrate you twice!

We were recently given the opportunity to tell the remarkable and inspiring story of Claire and Ian, longtime friends who are more like family, on the Forever Bride blog. It’s a story about one couple facing a world-wide pandemic 10 days before their wedding date and choosing love. Read the full story HERE and enjoy some of the incredible images from their special “I Do Day” below. Thank you, Claire and Ian, for letting us tell your story so you can inspire and comfort other couples facing the same hard decision!
