Jennifer and Bryan

Wedding Date: November 12th 2021

Bryan and I go back to high school days when I was his golf coach and we spent hours on the course together. Life took us to different parts of the world but when I got the call that he was getting married, those great days on the golf course all came flooding back and I couldn’t wait to meet the woman who stole his heart. Our first meeting to discuss photography turned into a conversation with old friends that felt like family and I’m sure we talked way too long, haha! Better still, I found out they recently moved to Edina and will be our neighbors!

The exciting day finally arrived and I boarded a plane to Athens, Georgia with my camera gear in one hand and my golf clubs in another. We started out their wedding weekend with a golf outing where Bryan and I got to test our skills side-by-side once more. Following a great round of golf, we made our way to the Hardeman-Sams Estate for their rehearsal dinner and a lovely autumn stroll through the changing leaves. The estate is absolutely breathtaking and full of the Georgia Southern charm I was hoping for. I met up with Jennifer and her girls in the bridal suite and I instantly knew I was in for a day of fun. Laughter filled the air and everyone swooned when she revealed her finished look. Now was the moment she was waiting for, seeing Bryan. I set up their first look at the bottom of the grand staircase and started giving Bryan a little prep talk when I heard, “Is he ready already???” Jennifer was waiting at the top of the stairs and simply couldn’t wait to run down and see her other half. Bryan echoed her excitement and the two were inseparable and couldn’t stop smiling the rest of the day.

The warm weather welcomed us outside for a beautiful autumn ceremony surrounded by flowers and the smell of fall in the air. They practically danced down the aisle and were completely overjoyed that they were married and flashed a little bling my way. The sun started to set and pain the sky with brilliant oranges and yellows so we made our way back to the Estate for an excited room of guests ready to congratulate the happy couple. After some heartfelt toasts and a few first dances, the band kicked it into high gear and knocked everyone's socks off. This was one of those dance parties where I just couldn’t help but join in the fun! As the music wound down and goodbyes were exchanged, they made a grand exit through an arch of sparklers held by their nearest and dearest. Thank you both for showing me such an incredible time and I can’t wait to see you around the neighborhood!
