Keely and Steve

Wedding Date: June 29th 2024

Every wedding has its own charm, but once in a while, there's a day that feels almost cinematic, like a scene from a movie unfolding before your eyes. Keely and Steve’s wedding was one of those rare occasions where everything came together seamlessly. With a perfect summer day and the lake as our backdrop, love filled the air.

Their day started at Hotel Landing, nestled right next to the lake, which was the perfect springboard for a day on the water. Keely and Steve both had a sense of calm that only comes from knowing you’re exactly where you’re supposed to be. After putting on the final touches, we stepped outside for their first look. I had found a charming little garden nook just around the corner which turned out to be the perfect spot for that magical moment when they saw each other for the first time. The way they looked at each other and Steve’s reaction still gives me goosebumps.

With the sun shining over the shimmering lake, we made our way to the Depot to meet their families. After capturing some family photos, it was time for the real adventure to begin. We all boarded a brand new boat which had a glass roof that let the sunlight pour in. The ceremony was lighthearted and fun, just like Keely and Steve. There were moments of laughter that echoed across the water and emotional moments that had everyone welling up and dabbing their eyes. It was the perfect blend of elegance and ease, a group of really fancy people on a boat, but with the laid-back vibe of a casual wedding.

After the ceremony, the boat was buzzing with congratulations and joy. Even though it was a packed boat, we managed to find a few little corners for some intimate photo ops. The captain even made sure the wind caught Keely’s veil just right, creating some breathtaking shots. We all took a moment after the ceremony to simply take it all in.

Dinner was an experience in itself, with a prime rib service that had everyone raving. Their kids shared some beautiful words during dinner, making it even more special. There was even an outfit change for Keely as she slipped into a party dress that was perfect for the dance floor. As the sun set, everyone moved upstairs to dance under the stars. The boat became a floating dance party, with music, laughter, and joy filling the night air. The ride back was a blur of dancing, smiles, and the undeniable feeling that Keely and Steve had truly had the time of their lives.
