Lisa and Jon
Wedding Date: October 19th 2025
I met Lisa and Jon at the conservatory under one of those rare, perfect blue sky days, the kind that makes everything else fall into place. We started with a first look along one of the park paths, and the light coming through the trees that morning was some of the best I've gotten all year. Soft, dappled, exactly the kind of light you can't plan for and just have to be lucky enough to catch.
Inside, the ceremony took place in the conservatory's main room, glass ceiling overhead, sunlight pouring straight down and making the whole space feel like it was glowing from within. A cellist played as guests filled in standing room only along one side of the reflection pool. Small, intimate, and completely stunning.
Afterward we wandered through the park, taking in the architecture and letting the day slow down for a bit before heading back inside for their reception in a private hall. The toasts were warm and sweet, the kind that make a small room feel completely full.
Once things wound down, Lisa, Jon, and I slipped into the tropical dome for a few final photos, humid air, greenery everywhere, a total shift in atmosphere from the ceremony room. We wrapped the night outside, the two of them finally able to just breathe and take in everything that had happened that day.
