Marissa and Erik Part Two Celebration

Wedding Date: October 15th 2021

I originally joined Marissa and Erik for a small family ceremony on the lake in 2020. They had planned a big party, but like many others, they opted for a more intimate exchange of vows with the party to come later. They really wanted their big celebration to be what they had always dreamed of along with keeping safety and travel in mind. But after much waiting, their day was finally here! Guests flew in from across the country and you could tell they were in their element surrounded by their people. Three of the most important people, Erik’s boys, made sure the day went off without a hitch and fun and laughter was had by all. These kids certainly know how to put a smile on your face! Marissa wore her beautiful dress from their vow exchange and surprised Erik on the steps of Interlachen during their first look. They were all smiles and their laughter could be heard across the venue and let everyone know it was time to let loose and have fun. Their beautiful ceremony overlooked the course and we couldn’t wait to explore the grounds during a sunset stroll. We made it back to the ballroom just in time for the sun to dip below the horizon and give an extra cozy and romantic glow to their beautifully decorated reception. During their first dance, JD from Ignite, surprised everyone with their signature cold sparklers for a pretty dramatic effect with plenty of oohs and aahs. We had so much fun in fact, we decided to bring them outside for some epic family photos. Who doesn’t want pyrotechnics during their family session?! What a perfect way to end the day, with Interlachen glowing in the background and all of their guests pressed against the windows watching the action with phones out and giant smiles on their faces. But that’s what this whole family does, they bring joy. Thank you for spreading the love and letting us capture your amazing part two celebration!
